	Report with analysis and proposals to support local and indigeneous communities in the management of forest concessions in the Republic of Congo (January 2012) Participative forest management report
	REM, Forests Monitor and CAGDF organised a workshop with Congolese departmental Civil Society Organisations (CSO) between 27 and 29 October 2011 in Brazzaville. This follows training provided by the IM-FLEG on field investigations in June 2011 and investigations carried out by CSOs sub-contracted to the project. The workshop concerned results from the field work, training on FPIC principles and participative management, as well as identification of further monitoring activities from the national network. 	REM, in collaboration with Forests Monitor, has written a practical training guide in independent monitoring for use by civil society organisations and law enforcement government officials (2010). IM-FLEG training guide in French
	REM, in collaboration with Forests Monitor and CAGDF held several national and regional workshops in the Congo Basin. The workshops facilitated regional exchange on forest governance issues and strengthened the technical capacity of civil society representatives from Gabon, Central African Republic, Republic of Congo, and the Democratic Republic of Congo in independent monitoring of forest law enforcement and governance.
